Single Lock Door Module with actuator entered into the right – key entered to open door.
All actuators are for use with all DM type locks.
DM-F – Fixed Actuator
• Suitable for most aligned guarding doors
• Compact (fit for small radius guards)
• Version with a chain is available using the part number
DM-F-CHAIN.
DM-H – Hand Operated Actuator
DM-A – Spring Released Hand Operated Actuator
• Suitable for use where secondary action to open / close
is required
• Highest misalignment DM Actuator
• Vertical adjustment: +/- 6mm
• Actuator can be rotated in bracket to suit DM Head
Handing
• Spring detent holds actuator in retracted position.
DM-C – Compressible Actuator
• Able to absorb vibration on hatches / doors
• Ideal for doors fitted with seals
• Can be used on small radius hinged doors
• Reduces impact on DM if door closes with high forces.
DM-S – Self Aligning Actuator
• Designed for applications where guards are expected to
move overtime during use.
• Horizontal misalignment : +/- 7.50mm
• Vertical misalignment: +/- 3.75mm
• Rotational misalignment of 360°.

Standard Functionality

DM1 / DMS1
The key is inserted into the lock and turned, while the actuator is trapped in the head. The actuator is released allowing the
door to be opened. The key remains trapped until the door is closed and the actuator is re-engaged.

DM2-10 / DMS2-5
The normally in locks (topmost) have keys trapped in the lock, while the actuator is trapped in the head. The normally out
locks can then be inserted and turned, allowing the NIL(s) to be removed. The actuator is then disengaged to allow the
opening of the door. Key for the NIL cannot be re-inserted until the door is closed and the actuator is re-engaged. Keys for
the NOL(s) remain trapped until keys for the NIL are reinserted and turned. Multiple lock units offer variable key exchange
sequences that require extra keys to be inserted, or removed before the door can be opened / locked door is open.

DMS2E (2-5)
The force extraction door lock offers the additional forced mechanical requirement to remove the key from the topmost lock
(NIL) and lower the mechanical band before the actuator can be removed from the interlock. All other functionality mirrors that
listed above in DMS2-5.
